At YEDA, the security and protection of our users come first. We use an advanced system that monitors all card activity to ensure your funds and your card remain safe at all times.
1. Making a Transaction Without Authorization
Before using your YEDA Mastercard, you must authorize the transaction.
Once you authorize it, you have 10 minutes to complete the payment.
-
If you pay within 10 minutes → the transaction is processed normally
-
If the time expires → the authorized amount is automatically returned to your card
This prevents any transaction from being completed without your approval.
2. Too Many Failed (Unauthorized) Transactions
If you attempt multiple payments without authorizing them, or if several transactions fail one after another,
the system may automatically deactivate your card for your protection.
This helps prevent:
-
suspicious activity
-
repeated errors
-
potential fraud
3. Long Period of Inactivity
If your card remains unused for an extended period of time, the system may also deactivate it automatically.
This is an additional security measure to avoid misuse of a card that has been inactive for too long.
Do You Lose Your Money if Your Card Is Deactivated?
NO.
You will never lose the funds you had on your card.
Your money stays 100% safe in your YEDA balance even if the card is deactivated.
How Does Card Reactivation Work?
Reactivating your YEDA card is automatic and instant.
It does not take any time, and your card returns to normal immediately.
In some cases, YEDA may also issue you a new card with a new number for additional security, but your balance remains unchanged.
